The task:
Having recently scaled down from a leafy residence in Kew, the client wanted to recreate the lush outlook they were accustomed to and incorporate entertaining spaces into their home office.
Our solution:
The works involved renovating a dull space and working closely with the interior designer to create a modern courtyard that flowed seamlessly from inside out. We created a landscape that matched the existing architecture and included a low maintenance garden, two water features and a functional entertaining area complete with a barbeque. In the enclosed courtyard where client meetings are held, the sound of the water trough drums out the street noises providing an intimate space for private discussions. The courtyard has been transformed into a lush haven to escape to, providing, intimate, tranquil spaces for relaxation and privacy, whilst remaining modern, functional and stylish.
